Happy New Year to everyone! I know if you were like me you couldn't wait to see 2020 come to an end and start of fresh in 2021. I do however have a question for you. From December 31 to January 1, what actually changed? The day changed from Thursday to Friday, the month changed from December to January and the year changed from 2020 to 2021. These things happen every year and were going to happen whether we paid attention to it or not. So what actually changed? This is not a "gotcha" question, it is a legit question.

I have an answer. The answer is your mindset. When 2021 came in your mindset changed because you saw it as a new beginning. It was the reset button. But to be perfectly honest, nothing changed. Your health didn't all of a sudden get better, your bills didn't miraculously get paid and Covid-19 didn't go away. I am not trying to bring you down by stating this, I am actually celebrating you. As I stated, what actually changed was your outlook on those things. You now are putting in place plans to get your health together, your finances straight and how to deal with this virus. Your mind changed and that is the beginning of any type of change. You now see things as being conquerable verses a roadblock. I celebrate you for taking this opportunity to re-evaluate situations and figure out how to overcome them and not let them overcome you.

I want to make a plea to you though. Don't stop! Even after you start and it may not be going the way you expected, keep going. Your initial plan may not be working and that's ok. Take A MINUTE, re-evaluate, come up with another plan and attack it again. Whatever you do DON'T QUIT! You started down this path for a reason, finish it out. Put all you have behind it. If you don't you will regret it. When you stop trying, you will still be thinking about it. You will have thoughts like, "Maybe I should have..." or "What would have happened if I...". If those thoughts do come into your mind, guess what, it's not over. Start again. Just because it is not January 1 doesn't stop you from starting again. Your restart date does not have to line up with any date on the calendar. Your
restart date is when you have in your mind that you are ready.

Are You Ready? If not, get ready and get started.
