Celebrate Each Other

I have seen too many people with great accomplishments, either on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn or heard about it in person, to not celebrate other people. That is what this week has been all about, celebration. There is too much negativity around us and we sometimes miss the opportunity to celebrate what people have done. It doesn't matter how large or small, if you did it or someone you know did it, then it needs to be celebrated.

I unfortunately, have seen others hating on other people's success. I see comments asking why they did what they, like changing jobs, moving, starting something different... it doesn't matter why they did it. All you need to know is that they did something for themselves and their family's. Either congratulate or stay silent. Better yet, you do something for yourself. Use what they did as inspiration for you to do that thing that has been on your mind for quite some time but you haven't acted on it yet. Stop waiting, and do it... Ready, Set, Go!!!

I want to celebrate anything that is positive. I want to show support for those that are doing things. We should all want that because that is what we would want when we accomplish something. I will take the last week of every month and make it "The Week of Celebration." There are all these other days or weeks that get celebrated I am just saying let's have a celebration of ourselves and others. We all deserve to be recognized, so let's do it at least once a month. You can connect with me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn and let me know what you are celebrating and I will be happy to celebrate with you and let others do the same. We don't have to wait for the last week of the month to celebrate, we can do it anytime. We will just set this week aside specifically for it.

Spread the word.
